Back in 1987, we moved into converted Victorian farm buildings at the award winning Heart Of The Country Shopping Village at Swinfen, near Lichfield in Staffordshire. The original stone floors and ceiling beams form a perfect backdrop for our unique furniture settings. The business rapidly developed and we became more and more involved in producing and finishing quality solid wood furniture, and quickly gained an excellent reputation for workmanship and reliability.
Our customers really appreciate the bespoke service that we provide and take advantage of having individual pieces of furniture made, coloured or finished in their own chosen style. All the furniture is made and finished by skilled craftsmen using traditional methods and is available in many styles, ranging from contemporary to traditional designs. The selection of solid woods includes new and reclaimed pine, cedar, beech and oak. Most of the furniture can be hand waxed, oiled or lacquered in a selection of colours..
The five showrooms feature many ranges of home furnishing accessories to complement the furniture and these include mirrors, lighting, fireside sets, clocks, plaques, wall art and much more. We always have an excellent selection of gift ideas , such as jewellery boxes, chess sets, boxed wooden games, nostalgic signs and figurines.
